ISRAEL CELEBRATES SUKKOT WITH WEEKLONG SCHEDULE OF FESTIVALS AND EVENTS, OCTOBER 2-10
New York - September 29, 2009: Israel will celebrate the weeklong festival of Sukkot (Tabernacles) with a special array of music, film and cultural events, October 2-10.The festivals include:

17th Renaissance Festival (October 5-7): Taking travelers back in time with knights, court jesters and ethnic music at the Yehiam Fortress in the Western Galilee
Jerusalem March (October 6): The traditional 3-, 6-, or 12-mile run in celebration of the Christian Festival of Tabernacles
